The goal of the course is to learn medical terminology in German. Based on the current language level, medical terms will be acquired and applied. In addition to the necessary specialized knowledge, communication between colleagues (doctor – doctor, doctor – nurse, etc.) as well as between doctors/nurses and patients will be learned and practiced.

You’ve already completed a preparation course for the Fachsprachprüfung and now want to practice the doctor-patient conversation in a realistic, hands-on way?

In this focused training, we simulate the doctor-patient dialogue part of the FSP — the most challenging and crucial element of the exam. You’ll work intensively on building your confidence, fluency, and precision in spoken medical German.
For who:
Participants who have completed a general Fachsprachprüfung course (B2–C1 level) and want to specifically sharpen their spoken skills before the exam.

In this course, we focus on practical medical English for your everyday working life. You will learn to communicate confidently with patients and colleagues, explain symptoms and treatments in an understandable way, and use exactly the vocabulary you really need in your job.

In this class, you will learn how to start a casual conversation.
Do you want to make friends, ask for directions, schedule a doctor’s appointment, or check if a sweater is available in another size? That’s exactly what we’ll practice here! Using a pre-written script, we will go through typical situations. This way, you’ll gain confidence and soon be able to handle everyday conversations fluently and naturally.

You have already learned German and maybe you are even living in Germany? But every time you try to start a conversation, you hesitate – even though you’ve practiced the sentences? Do you feel insecure?
As soon as you say something in German, people reply in English or start speaking extremely loudly? You feel frustrated and like you have no chance to apply what you’ve already learned?

In this lesson, we will choose a topic.
You can decide whether you want to look up vocabulary before the lesson and come prepared, or if we will work together to learn the necessary vocabulary.

This course is made for students like you who want to really understand how the human body works — not just memorize facts. I’ve been teaching anatomy and physiology for over ten years and I know how tricky it can be to learn all this in a foreign language. We’ll take it step by step, using clear explanations, visuals, and examples that make sense.

We’ll go through all the main systems you’ll need to know for your physiotherapy studies:

Respiratory System how we breathe and get oxygen

Heart & Blood Vessels how blood moves through the body

Nervous System how the brain and nerves control everything

Digestive System how food becomes energy
